The Orchard Pre-School’s mission is to provide quality education in an environment which fosters a child’s love of learning and a respect for self, others, the community and the world. We are committed to providing a nurturing and secure environment which promotes the development of each child physically, emotionally, socially as well as academically.
At The Orchard Pre-School we offer sessional care and education from the age of 2-5 years. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum in the Prime and Specific areas to provide an all round education. Each child has a Key Worker assigned to them who through observation and reflection encourages each child to reach their full potential.
Children are supported in both structured and free flow play both indoors and outdoors to develop their social, physical, creative, language, literacy and numeracy skills in a supportive environment. These activities and the support given provide children with the opportunities to devleop their self-esteem, nuture their personal, social and emotional skills as they transition to Primary School.
