Nursery School Manager

An introduction to Burgh Wood Montessori Nursery School...

At Burgh Wood Montessori Nursery School, we are committed to providing a nurturing and secure ‘home-from-home’ environment which promotes the development of a child physically, emotionally, socially, as well as academically.

We offer an original Montessori-inspired learning environment, with experienced and qualified staff – our teachers are either Montessori trained and/or hold a recognised teaching qualification. We work in small, focused groups, and a Key Worker has a maximum of eight children.

We were delighted to receive an Outstanding rating in our recent Ofsted inspection in July 2024, with the inspector stating: “Leaders and staff place children firmly at the centre of their exemplary setting”. We provide extra-curricular activities (such as Boogie Beats and ZooLab) and we also offer weekly Forest School sessions.
